One of the first steps in Mentor Latvia’s journey was to hold a conference focussing upon Mentoring in the Baltics. This event presented Mentor, its work and objectives in Latvia, providing an introduction to those working in the field. It also provided the forum for a discussion around the improvement of young people’s lifestyle in Latvia and the Baltics.
The Mentoring programme has been running successfully in Latvia with SEB’s support. The project develops young people’s resistance to drug abuse by providing them with extra adult support, care and understanding.
